CREATOR'S LETTER

Hello AI Founder, Builder, and Architect!

Session 2 of The AI Policy Summit 2026 is now available. We cover how local government, schools, and industry can put AI to work for citizens, how the UTDesign Capstone program drives academia and industry collaboration, and how to prepare communities to thrive through disruption and change. Sessions 3 through 10 release each week.

On Friday, October 30, I curated a conversation: Regulating the Unknown: Navigating the New Frontier of AI Policy with Richardson Mayor Amir Omar, Plano Mayor John Muns, and Meghna Tare, Chief Sustainability Officer at UT Arlington. Special thanks to Dr. Gaurav Shekhar, Associate Dean at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, for inviting me to moderate and The AI Space Podcast to be a community partner for AI Day at UTD.

On Thursday, November 12, The AI Space Podcast is partnering with Nick James of WhitegloveAI Academy as the Education Partner for the Claude for Small Business hands-on workshop at Plug and Play Frisco. In three hours, you get one real business task done well with Claude. Will you join us?

Question: How do you see the impact of AI in education and communities? Tell me in this week's poll below.

The podcast is the winner of three awards in 2026 and just passed 5 million views on YouTube. I am so grateful to our guests and audience for helping to build this platform and community.

EPISODE: AI INNOVATION IN EDUCATION AND COMMUNITIES

AI Policy Summit Session #2:
AI Disruption and Innovation in Education and Communities

Watch AI Disruption and Innovation in Education and Communities on YouTube

1. How Can Local Government Put AI to Work for Citizens? (20:22)
Residents care whether their city is responsive and spends tax dollars well, not whether it uses AI. Richardson pilots first, tests on anonymized data, and has a human review every AI draft, then scales what works.

2. How Does UTDesign Capstone Drive Academia and Industry Collaboration? (09:02)
Capstone teams solve real industry problems. A City of Dallas digital twin project created a hiring pipeline, and TI student teams built designs that shaped products. Bring a problem and you get a solution and future hires.

3. How Do We Prepare Communities to Thrive Through Disruption and Change? (05:55)
Innovation is change management. Connect students to devices and broadband first, align K-12, colleges, and cities around one workforce ecosystem, and review strategy quarterly, not yearly.

AD #1: WHEN YOUR SEARCH BAR GHOSTS CUSTOMERS

Zero Results, Zero Sales

They came to your site ready to buy. They typed exactly what they wanted. And your search bar ghosted them.

Traditional site search relies on rigid, exact keyword matching. When a shopper uses natural language or makes a simple typo, they hit a ā€œ0 Results Foundā€ wall and leave for a competitor.

Stop letting search bars ghost your best customers. Gladly understands shopper intent and turns dead ends into recommendations that keep shoppers buying.

Most AI Tools Weren't Built for This
